The 5th Council Meeting of the 6th Anhui Vacuum Society and the Provincial Vacuum Industry Development Forum were successfully held in Jingde County

      On January 11, 2025, the 5th Council Meeting of the 6th Anhui Vacuum Society and the Anhui Vacuum Industry Development Forum were successfully held in Jingde County. Hu Jiansheng, Chairman of the Anhui Vacuum Society, He Gang and Gao Juan, Vice Chairmen, and Sun Zhaoqi, Chief Supervisor, attended the meeting. Lv Jianguo, Deputy County Magistrate of Jingde County People's Government, was invited to attend the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yang Qingxi, Secretary General of the Society.

      At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy County Magistrate Lv Jianguo warmly welcomed the arrival of experts and entrepreneurs from the Anhui Vacuum Society in his speech. He said that Jingde County is located at the "Eastern Gate" of Huangshan, with convenient transportation, rich resources, superior ecological environment, and a good foundation for industrial development. The Jingde County Party Committee and the County Government attach great importance to the introduction and development of high-tech industries, and regard the intelligent manufacturing industry related to vacuum technology as one of the key supported industries. He hopes to take this conference as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with the Anhui Vacuum Society and related enterprises to promote the development of emerging industries in Jingde County.

      In his speech, Chairman Hu Jiansheng thanked Deputy County Mayor Lv Jianguo and all directors for their strong support for the Anhui Vacuum Society and this conference. He pointed out that the Anhui Vacuum Society has been committed to promoting academic exchanges and industrial applications of vacuum technology for many years, and has gradually formed an innovative model combining scientific research with industry. The convening of this conference not only provides a platform for communication and cooperation for experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the field of vacuum technology in our province, but also provides new ideas for the industrial development of Jingde County.

      Gao Juan, the United Front Committee member of the Society, made a special report on "In-depth Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee", leading the participants to study the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, focusing on the important contents of the Plenary Session on deepening scientific and technological innovation, promoting high-quality development, and strengthening party building to lead scientific and technological development. The participants unanimously agreed that the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee pointed out the direction for scientific and technological workers, and the Society will take the spirit of the Plenary Session as a guide to promote the deep integration of academic research and industrial practice.

      At the meeting, Chairman Hu Jiansheng reviewed the various tasks of Anhui Vacuum Society in 2024, including party building activities, the successful holding of Wuhu Vacuum Academic Conference, member unit exchanges and visits, industry-university-research cooperation, popular science activities, member development and funding income and expenditure, etc. He also shared the progress of member units in technological innovation and talent training. The plan for 2025 was deployed in detail, requiring the planning of the first vacuum technology training class, the improvement of the collection and release of important information of member units, the selection of "Fanfeng" outstanding graduate student scholarships, enterprise visits and academic exchanges (co-organizing the vacuum conference of three provinces and one city in East China) and other activities.

      Researcher Zuo Guizhong introduced the current membership of the society and the basic information of new groups or individuals applying for membership; the meeting reviewed and approved the membership applications of 6 groups including Yingfukang (Guangzhou) Vacuum Instrument Co., Ltd. and 1 individual member. At the meeting, Professor Sun Zhaoqi and Professor Chen Changqi presented plaques to two group members. Huang Ming from the Secretariat of the Society reported to everyone on the collection of membership fees in 2024, and expressed his gratitude for the active support of all group members! It is understood that 8 group members including Hefei University of Technology have paid their dues until 2026; the normal collection of membership fees effectively guarantees and promotes the smooth development of various work of the society.

      At the Anhui Vacuum Industry Development Forum held later, special guests Wang Peng, Hu Jin, Zhang Shuotang and Dong Zhonglin spoke on the theme of "Coordinated Development of Vacuum Technology and Regional Economy" and the latest progress and practical application of vacuum technology in semiconductors, new energy, large scientific facilities and other fields. The speech was easy to understand and shared the technology development trends and market prospects, which stimulated extensive discussions among the delegates. The guests agreed that as a high-tech enterprise, it is necessary to gather the strength of all parties, strengthen the organization and coordination of industrial development elements such as excellent talents and funds, make good products, provide excellent services, and keep low costs, so as to jointly promote the development of Anhui's vacuum industry and strive to go global!

      Finally, Chairman Hu Jiansheng made a summary speech. He emphasized that we should improve our political position, achieve "two safeguards", and deeply study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Anhui to promote the healthy development of the society. He also said that the society will continue to strengthen the organization of academic exchanges, vacuum technology training and other activities, deepen industry-university-research cooperation, and help the high-quality development of Anhui's vacuum industry. The meeting also discussed other work of the society and determined that the 2026 Anhui Vacuum Society Academic Conference will be hosted by Anhui University of Science and Technology.

      More than 30 directors from the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University, Anhui University of Science and Technology, Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei University, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center Energy Research Institute (Anhui Energy Laboratory), Anhui Wanrui Cold Electric Technology Co., Ltd., Hefei Haimai Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhuoling Precision Equipment (Hefei) Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. The meeting also specially invited the heads of member units such as Anhui Jiashuo Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Chunyuan Coating Technology Co., Ltd. and Anhui Electric Group Co., Ltd. to participate and make suggestions for the development of vacuum industry in Anhui Province.
