
The first informal meeting of the 7th Vacuum Advisory Committee of the Chinese Vacuum Society was held at Shanghai University on November 22, 2010. The members attending the meeting included: Lei Zhenlin, Chairman of the Vacuum Advisory Committee (Shenyang Scientific Instrument Research and Development Center Co., Ltd., Chinese Academy of Sciences), Hui Jinde, Deputy Chairman of the Committee (Shanghai Huifeng Chemical Research Institute), Lin Hong, Member (Beijing Jinsheng Micro-Nano Technology Co., Ltd.), Yu Feng, Member (Shanghai Guangdian Electronics Co., Ltd. You Meiqin Dai), Cai Chuanbing, Member (Shanghai University Superconductivity and Application Research Center), and Wang Jiazhen of China Vacuum Network attended the meeting.
This meeting was the first informal meeting after the establishment of the new Vacuum Advisory Committee. The participating members fully exchanged their respective work and held a heated discussion on how the committee should carry out its work and organize related activities in 2011, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions. Deputy Director Hui Jinde summarized the results of everyone's discussion. On this basis, Director Lei Zhenlin combined the characteristics of the vacuum industry and the newly established characteristics of the new advisory committee and believed that the advisory committee should work together with other experienced and influential committees of the society to explore experience, expand influence and achieve practical results while highlighting its own characteristics.
Finally, the participating members unanimously nominated Wang Jiazhen of China Vacuum Network as the deputy secretary-general of the committee (determined after consulting other members after the meeting).
After the meeting, the participating members visited the Joint Engineering Center of Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai University. The OLED equipment and new technology left a deep impression on everyone. In the future, the Vacuum Advisory Committee will definitely unite its members closely, serve its members better, and let its members gather online and offline to enjoy friendship and exchange information.
